A fantastic new chance to promote our BEST DAM CHRISTMAS Special Event just materialized!
I have been speaking with Dan Marler (K7REX) who is the Idaho ARRL Section Manager (SM) and the founder of the Radio Amateur Training Planning and Activities Committee (RATPAC) about doing a presentation in January about our efforts with ARES and the EMAs out here in Missouri. That presentation will take place on January 7, 2021.
In the meantime, Dan’s group had their planned guest for their December 2, 2020 show get called away for an emergency and he needed someone to fill in with a topic of interest for hams nationwide. As I had previously told him a bit about our month-long BEST DAM CHRISTMAS Special Event, he invited me to talk about it at the Zoom meeting!
I feel like I should get to have the title “HAM RADIO’S PINCH HITTER” now!
This is a great opportunity for our little club and for our festive event!
